Job Title : DRR District Coordinator
Base : Aceh Singkil
Duration : 10-12 month
Salary : IDR 2,500,000-3,000,000 (based on experiences)
Karst Aceh is a Non Government Organization that was declared in Banda Aceh on 04 November 1999 and registered to notaries/ Ali Gunawan SH: No 33 15 Jan 2003. Karst Aceh was register in Government of Aceh Cq Badan Kesatuan Bangsa, Politik, dan Perlindungan Masyarakat proved by the letter number 220/094/86/VII/2010. Before tsunami affected Aceh, this organization actively involved in save the environment and conservation of cave/ karst area in Aceh. Starting in early 2005, Karst Aceh had implemented several projects ranged from emergency responses, survey and trainings to execute community based disaster risk reduction. In providing services Karst Aceh also corporate with other CSOs in order strengthening the network and improve the implementation. Karst Aceh emphasizes the environment/ ecology protection and disaster risk reduction, type of services: disaster management; civil society; organization empowerment; GIS, spatial planning, and data information
management.
We are currently seeking a DRR District Coordinator for Karst Aceh DRR project in Aceh Singkil. The project aims to increase the capacity of disaster management actors to optimize their role and functions in disaster management including data management in order assembling disaster plan and disaster management developed and implemented by participatory approach.
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree
2.At least 3x years of experience in DRR
3.Significant experience in data quality and assessment systems design required
4.Demonstrated experience in DRR.
5.Able to work under pressure
6.Excellent computer literate
7.Strong representation and negotiation skills
8.Experience to implementing GPS survey
9.Domiciled in Aceh Singkil and have his/ her own motorcycle is desired
10.Willingness to work flexible hours and to travel frequently to the field/remote areas in the project sites
Task:
1.Participate in data collection, needs assessments, project identification and proposal development
2.Promote Karst Aceh principle of integrated programming
3.Facilitate day-to-day project activities in the field
4.Improve the service delivery to achieve implementation projects
5.Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all Karst Aceh projects
6.Represent Karst Aceh in coordination meetings with partner in the field
7.Work in coordination with team to ensure the appropriate and timely monitoring and evaluation of projects
8.Comply with all Karst Aceh financial policies
9.Complete monthly reporting each month
This position is a full-time job on a one-year basis with a periodically 4 months probation, Possible extension is required after successfully pass the probation period.
