JOB VACANCY

Qatar Charity is a Qatar-based NGO. Since the
inception of its services in Indonesia in 2006, the Organization has been
committed to assist the needy and less supported people all over Indonesia. The
Organization is active in providing assistance in the following domains;
Education & Cultural Support, Family, Women & Child care,  Livelihoods & Income Generation, Water
& Sanitation, Relief & Emergency Response and last but not least Seasonal
Programs. After the tragedy tsunami disaster in 2004, Qatar Charity has made a
considerable contribution to the efforts of reconstruction and rehabilitation
in the affected areas.

Qatar Charity Indonesia (QCI) is currently seeking:

·         Position:                                     Finance Officer (FA)
·         Report to:                                   Finance Manager
·         Duty Station:                            Jakarta

Functional Summary

QCI is seeking individuals with
positive and constructive ideas to be based in our Country Office in Jakarta;
He is expected to provide financial support to our Program in
accordance with QC guidelines. The incumbent will be primarily responsible for
the Data entry in the financial system, bank support activities and
disbursement functions. S/he will provide support to Finance Manager in tasks
including preparation and deposit of withholding taxes, checking documentation,
reconciliations and ensure the maintenance of financial documents in a
systematic order and is responsible for effective filling

Responsibilities

·         Processes financial
data on computer, provides month-end closing and reports mainly autonomously.
·         Takes part in cash
flow management.
·         Ensure completeness
and accuracy of supporting documents
·         Prepare checks and/or
transfer letters and payroll disbursements
·         Ensure effective
filling of all financial documents
·         Ensure timely Cash
receipts and deposits in the bank
·         Perform Bank
reconciliation for review by supervisor
·         Assist in the
resolution of any banking related issues and new bank account opening
·         Gives technical
support for budget elaboration
·         Handles bookkeeping
·         Implements daily cash
payments and other operations under supervision
·         Prepare report to the
in-line manager as per requested.
·         Implements and
ensures respect of financial procedures and guidelines
·         Other duties as per assigned.



Qualifications and experience

·         Minimum qualification is
bachelor degree in Accounting.
·         At least 3 Years experience in
the relevant fields.
·         Knowledge of Accounting / Financial systems
·         Mature, good inter personal
skills and able to communicate with staffs at all levels.
·         Able to work in a multicultural
setting.
·         Good computer skills.

 Key Competencies
required

·         Able to communicate actively in
English and Indonesian (Oral & Written).  Additional skill of Arabic would be an advantage.
·         Strong organizational skills
and able to take initiative and prioritize the assigned tasks.
·         Good capacity for negotiation and communication
·         Integrity & strong work ethic.
·         Critical thinking & decision-making.
·         Planning & facilitation skills.
