REQUIRED
1.       Job Title : Trainer Officer (Based : Jakarta)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: ·         In collaboration with Capacity Building Officer, build relationship facilitation with library partners and Library Advisory Groups (LAG)  in implementing PerpuSeru program·         In collaboration with Capacity Building Officers and other team members conduct situational analysis and develop library mapping related to library development (capacity building needs) for promoting improved library services·        

In collaboration with Training Coordinator, Program & Advocacy Manager, and Capacity Building Officers develop training modules and materials of advocacy, resource mapping and community engagement training·         Assist Training Coordinator to provide Training of Trainers to Capacity Building Officers on advocacy, resource mapping and community engagement training as well as monitoring and evaluation.·         Train Library partners staff and Library Advisory Group (LAG) on advocacy, resource mapping and community engagement.·         Assist Capacity Building Officers to
provide mentoring and technical assistances, consultation to library partners staff and Library Advisory Group to ensure highest quality project implementation·         Assist Capacity Building Officers to identify and implement the strategy to build the capacity library partner staff and Library Advisory Group to meet with project Impact·         Lead in applying Positive
Deviance and/or other behavior change methodologies  to promoting improved library services and sustained library development·         Lead in developing Positive Deviance methodology, planning, tools and implementation·         Lead to facilitate Positive Deviance studies and designing learning sessions utilizing results.·         Assist Capacity Building Officers and Program and Advocacy Manager to select talented and passionate library staff, LAG , other stakeholder to be trainers/facilitator to train and mentor the phase 2 targeted libraries to implement Positive deviance results discovered from phase 1 (Core facilitators)·         Develop Training of Trainer curriculum to improve  the Core Facilitators in preparing program
replication·         Assist Training Coordinator to lead Training of Trainers to library partners and LAG to improve their capacity in replicating program to other libraries·         Lead positive deviance results implementation to phase 2 targeted libraries·         Provide mentoring to the Core Facilitators to train and mentor the phase 2 targeted libraries in implementing positive deviance results discovered from phase 1·         Document lessons learned during trainings and implementation and incorporate those lessons into future training and implementation.·         Plan and ensure the effective implementation of training and capacity building programs, cross-visits, and learning exchanges for library partners and library advisory group·         Assist in any other task or duty assigned. Qualification:·         University degree is Social Science and or relevant field is
required.·         Minimum 5-6 years experiences in the areas of training curriculum development, training and mentoring implementation, Positive Deviance and other behavior change methodologies.·         Strong in community/institutional mapping and situational analytical skill·         Minimum 5 years with development program, institutional development or related professional experience at a similar capacity·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience,
enthusiasm, strong team work·         Ability to work well under pressure, multitasking and meet deadlines·         Proficiency in English and Indonesian (written and spoken) required.·         Good computers skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point are mandatory)·         Good Reporting skill is required·         Willingness to conduct frequent travelling and work in difficult condition·          Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and achieve results through collaboration.·         Must be flexible and adaptive to change  2.       Job Title : Capacity Building Officer (Based : Jakarta)Essential Job Function:·         Build relationship facilitation and engage very closely with library partners and Library Advisory Groups (LAG)  in implementing PerpuSeru program·         Assist and provide technical assistances to library partners in identifying and
establishing LAG members·         Conduct situational analysis and develop library mapping related  to  library development for promoting improved library services·         Identify and implement the strategy to build the capacity library partner staff and Library Advisory Group to meet with project Impact·         Apply Positive Deviance and/or other behavior change methodologies  to promoting improved library services and sustained library development·         Plan and facilitate Positive Deviance studies and designing learning sessions utilizing results.·         Work with other Capacity Building Officers, Program and Advocacy Manager, Training Coordinator and appropriate stakeholders to develop new training materials and write training curricula on advocacy, community engagement and resource mapping·         Train
Library partner staff and Library Advisory Group  in advocacy, community engagement and resource mapping·         Provide further mentoring, technical assistance, consultation and follow on whole training provided to ensure the highest quality implementation.·         Assist in providing Training of Trainers to library partners and LAG to improve their capacity in replicating
program to other libraries.·         Document lessons learned during trainings and implementation and incorporate those lessons into future training and implementation.·         Plan and ensure the effective implementation of training and capacity building programs, cross-visits, and learning exchanges for library partners and library advisory group·         Assist the relationships facilitation with provincial, district , other local government authority, private sectors, local institutions, LNGOs  to support sustained library development·         Assist in library partner selection process for phase 2 and work with other team members in implementing program stages for targeted phase 2 partners·         Assist in any other task or duty assigned.Qualification:·         University degree is Social Science and or relevant field is required.·         Minimum 3-5 years experiences in
training and mentoring implementation. Familiar with Positive Deviance and other behavior change methodologies is preferable.·         Strong in community/institutional mapping and situational analytical skill·         Minimum 5 years with development program, institutional development or related professional experience at a similar capacity·         Experiences in advocacy activities are required.·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills, patience, enthusiasm, strong team

BACKGROUND
Greetings,
Library sector in Indonesia continued to grow in role as well as in number, which resulted in the increasing number of users. Unfortunately, the capacity of public library services in Indonesia is still below what are needed, in terms of soft and hard skills. More
importantly, the need to keep up with the global technology development in this era of information technology is indispensable for library. The literacy on information and ICT is getting critically important due to its increasing role in many walks of lives. In addressing this issues, Coca-Cola Foundation Indonesia with Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation support is implementing PerpuSeru program to develop public library into well used, ICT enabled, productive, and sustainable community learning centers. Lessons learned from the PerpuSeru program will result in a better understanding of growing and maintaining the role of libraries as sources of knowledge and information. Specific target users, i.e., women, youth and micro-entrepreneurs will benefit through improved skill and knowledge in, among others, health care and/or economic development, and improved access to information on job opportunity and creative industry, and improved information to develop
entrepreneurship. In the long term, we expect that PerpuSeru program will enable end beneficiaries to improve their quality of lives especially in aspect of health and economic development, create better opportunities in employment and education as well as improve competitiveness in the entrepreneurship skills.
